Bonsai matsuri

Period (Dates)  : from 3rd to 5th in May every year

Time :  9:00 a.m to 5 :00 p.m (Only Last day 9: 00 a.m to 4: 00 p.m)

Place : Bonsai-chou Kita-ku Saitama city , Saitama prefecture




Nearest station : Ōmiya-kōen Station ( Tobu Noda Line)
                       It takes about 1 minutes from station to Bonsai-cho on foot.
                                      or

                       Toro Station (JR Utsunomiya Line)
                       It takes about 10 minutes to from station Bonsai-cho on foot.



From Tokyo Station : It takes about one hour from Tokyo Station to
                             Omiya-Koen Station and Toro Station by train


How to get :  1) Get on JR Keihin Touhoku Line for Omiya Station
                     at Tokyo station

                  2) Get off at the Omiya station

                  3) Change at Omiya station for Omiya- Koen station
                      to Tobu Noda Line

                                               or

                     Change at Omiya station for Toro station
                     to  JR Utsunomiya Line.

                                                or

                      Take the taxi at the Omiya station.
                      It takes about 15 minutes from Omiya station to Bonsai cho
                      by taxi.

                    If you don't know how to change the train , please ask
                    the station staff. They will tell you it kindly.

And so there are not large bonsai at Gafu-ten.
